RISE Organic Energy Brew & Caffeine - What you need to know
HOW MUCH CAFFEINE IS IN RISE?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions about RISE – Organic Energy Brew. It makes sense since many people are seeking an energy alternative because of the side effects they experience from the caffeine in coffee. Here’s what you need to know:
If you cannot consume any caffeine, unfortunately, RISE might not be for you. However, if you’re looking to reduce your caffeine intake or find relief from the side effects of coffee, RISE could be the perfect solution.
RISE contains approximately 30-40 mg of caffeine per serving. To give you some context, here’s how that compares to other common beverages:
• Coffee: 1 cup of brewed coffee contains about 95 mg of caffeine
• Instant Coffee: 1 cup contains about 60 mg of caffeine
• Espresso: 1 shot (1.5 ounces) contains about 65 mg of caffeine
• Black Tea: 1 cup contains about 47 mg of caffeine
• Green Tea: 1 cup contains about 28 mg of caffeine
• Cacao (Chocolate): 1 cup contains about 15 mg of caffeine
The caffeine in RISE comes naturally from Yerba Maté and Guarana. Since there’s only a small amount of Guarana in the recipe, most of the energy boost comes from the Yerba Maté.
In addition to caffeine, Yerba Maté contains other stimulants, such as Theobromine (the same stimulant in chocolate that makes us feel good) and Theophylline (a stimulant found in black tea).
It’s the combination of these three stimulants that makes the energy boost from Yerba Maté in RISE feel so different from coffee. You’ll experience longer-lasting energy without the jittery feeling, and some even describe it as euphoric (thanks to Theophylline).
If you’re sensitive to caffeine, I recommend starting with half a serving to see how it feels, and then you can increase to a full serving if needed.
